Located on the edge of Troutbeck (a small hamlet with its own pub), we offer a convenient and accessible retreat that brings you closer to nature, serenity, and lake district adventures.
We are very easy to find, just follow the well-marked roads to Troutbeck (make sure you remember we are the Troutbeck in the North Lakes). As you leave the A66 follow the road through Troutbeck, the Troutbeck Inn is on your left. Keep going until the road bends to the right. At Kitty House is the Cumbrian longhouse you will now be able to see, take your next left and you have found us.
PARKING AVAILABILITY
We understand the importance of hassle-free parking. Rest assured, our holiday cottage offers ample parking space for your convenience.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
As Penrith (North Lakes) sits on the West Coast main line, it is easily accessible via train. From Penrith there are 2 regular buses which run past Troutbeck, the X4 and the X5. From the bus stop to the cottage is approximately 800metres or please ring and we would be happy to meet you from the Train.
